Things We Do

Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope
One of our dedicated mentors, Aaron George, proudly represented us at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk Hope in September 2025. He raised an impressive $1,280 while walking 5 kilometers for this important cause. We are excited that he will be walking again in September 2026 to continue supporting Ovarian Cancer Canada.
About the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope:
The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is Canada’s largest fundraising event dedicated to ovarian cancer. Organized annually by Ovarian Cancer Canada, this event unites patients, survivors, families, caregivers, and supporters during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month each September to raise vital funds and awareness.
Purpose of the Walk:
Funds through the Walk of Hope help:
- Advance innovative ovarian cancer research in Canada
- Treatment and care options
- Provide educational resources and support programs
- Advocate for better policies and earlier prevention strategies
Since its inception in 2002, the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope has become a nationwide symbol of hope, community, and determination in the fight against ovarian cancer. Join us in making a difference!
Care Packages
At Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, we deliver thoughtfully assembled care packages to support cancer patients during some of the most difficult moments of their journey. Each package includes comforting essentials such as blankets, socks, eye masks, lotion, and coloring books — small items designed to provide warmth, relaxation, and a sense of care and compassion when it is needed most.
